Environmental & Social Assessment Framework (ESAF) for Second Integrated Sanitation & Sewerage Infrastructure Project (ISSIP-II), Assiut & Sohag Governorates funded by the World Bank
awarded the contract for preparing the ESIAF study for Assiut and Sohag Governorates. The client of the project is HCWW, AWWC & SWWC / World Bank. The study process of identifying, predicting, evaluating and mitigating the biophysical, social, and other relevant effects of development proposals prior to major decisions being taken and commitments made. The project area covering a total of twenty-four villages in the Assiut governorate and twenty-three villages in the Sohag . The study comprises the operation and harnessing of existing wastewater treatment plants, in addition to new wastewater treatment plants will be established to serve these villages with sewerage system; household connections, sewerage network & pump stations
